Family short city break at the end of August 2025 to south of France and Andorra. We found this great apartment in Carca

Pros: Great place - spacious, clean, well designed in a great location - 15 mins walk from train station and old town, 10 mins drive from the airport, in city centre with all shops nearby, and fantastic value for money. Hosts communicating in a proper manner and very accommodating - we asked for earlier check in and slightly later check out and there was no issue at all. Definitely would book it again if staying in Carcassonne, highly recommend it.

Modern, clean and great price

Pros: The flat was as per the photos, clean, spacious and modern, we didn't cook there was everything you need. If we went back we would return . We found parking locally for free, good location for all.

Cons: It didn't matter for us but one of the bedroom is divided by a curtain by the side of the lounge, if you wanted to sleep in this room and others were staying up late this might not work, but no issue at all for us, just go to bed the same time ;)

Excellent place to stay, it was very comfortable and very helpful hosts.

Pros: The location was good. It was a very quiet street and a 15-20 minute walk to the train station. A 5 minute walk to the cathedral.

Cons: The only thing we weren't expecting was a staircase so if travellers have any knee concerns or disability issues this is not the place for you.

Pros: Muy bien equipado y todo muy nuevo. La localización genial y los propietarios muy amables.

Cons: Por decir una cosa que nos sorprendió un poco, da un poco de cosa, que la puerta del apartamento no tenga cerradura ni llave, aunque si la tiene lógicamente la puerta del portal.

Pros: Bien placé non loin de l'aude au bord de la ville, à 20 min à pieds de la cité médiévale. Appart au calme, idéal en famille pour se poser après une grande journée à parcourir Carcassonne.
