Big stylish apartment in centre of Carcassonne

Pros: Beautiful big apartment. Stylishly decorated and very comfortable. Great location. Good sized practical bathrooms. Great kitchen

Cons: Three bedroom apartment but one toilet. Bit strange. Ventilation in two main bedrooms poor in warm weather

Pros: Luxurious apartment. Spacious with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Very bright and airy, with a nice view over the rooftops to the medieval city. Located beside a wide range of restaurants, cafes etc, and walking distance to the train station.

Cons: Light sleepers might consider ear plugs due to the typical city noises of deliveries, refuse collection etc..

Pros: The position was excellent. The view of the old town at night was lovely and unexpected. The apartment was spacious and really suited three couples travelling with a love of cooking, the kitchen is excellent! We enjoyed all of Carcassonne, and in our quick stay, we quickly thought of our base as home.

Cons: Air con in bedroom one doesn't seem to work, no toilet in the en suite, a bit odd - 1 toilet throughout.... for a three-bedroom... no provisions in fridge on arrival is a bit behind other short-term lets we have visited. We left behind more than the flat had when we arrived - enjoy everyone!!!!

Pros: Excellent sized apartment with three double bedrooms. Spacious living area with plenty of space for everyone!

Cons: Although it wasn't an issue for me, I can imagine if you have the bedroom nearest the square you could hear some noise from the nearby bar. This was apparent only on the Friday night. I sleep with earplugs in so it wasn't a problem.

Luxury apartment in the centre of the town

Pros: Lovely well appointed apartment, the beds were very comfortable. It is very close to the central square without being affected by any noise.

Cons: It’s a shame there is only one toilet! It could do with some larger cups not everyone drinks espresso.

Spacious appartment ideal to discover Carcassone

Pros: Very large, comfortable and beautifully decorated appartment. It was well equipped and little things like detergent, etc were provided. Very central location was ideal to discover Carcassone.

Cons: A bit noisy outside.

Just perfect!

Pros: Fabulous location and had the entire floor to ourselves with our own private lift. We could see the castle from every window so spectacular!

Superb apartment - close to all ammenities in the Bastide area - comfortable and clean.

Pros: The communication from the owner was superb, the location of the apartment was great for restaurants in the Place Carnot. The apartment is on the top floor with its own private lift with great views of the area below and the castle in the distance. Easy taxi ride from the airport. Spotlessly clean apartment with interesting vaulted ceiling and feature oak beams gave a great sense of space and an easy flow to the room. We only used two bedrooms but everything you could need was there for our stay.

Cons: Being really picky as I would stay again but there were no toilets in the bathrooms it is separate - but that also has its advantages. The shower drains were a bit smelly at times but as its a fourth floor apartment this might be the reason.

Pros: Perfect for a family, lots of basic items there for use, tea,coffee etc.

Loved Carcasonne. Nicest apartment we stayed in the south of France.

Pros: Great location. Right on corner of square with all the restaurants. Close to train station. Within walking distance of everything. Very spacious apartment. Very comfortable. Very clean.

Cons: Could have mirrors in the bedrooms. Only one toilet but not really a problem.
