Excellent stopover after a week in the Pyrenees with friends

Pros: Loved the location and a perfect base for sightseeing in carcassonne. Balcony was a fabulous spot

Cons: The bed under the stairs was a bit spooky

An excellent choice

Pros: The location is excellent. The street does look quite uninhabited but it is characteristic of most streets and nothing to worry us. As mentioned there are stairs to be aware of but the terrace is the pay off and a nice place to sit and have a drink and listen to the church bells. Also as previously mentioned there is no kettle but there is a pan to boil water. Jason was most helpful.

Cons: It is a value for money accommodation in a great location so there is nothing not to like.

It was great

Pros: The facilities were great. The view was amazing. Parking lot is near the apartment. The location is in the center and it’s not so far away from the castle (20 min walk).

Cons: The building around the city was almost empty. So it’s a little scary at night.

Beautiful apartment and great location.

Pros: Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The balcony/terrace was a real bonus with beautiful views of the church.

Cons: As a Brit, I would have really liked a kettle to make tea but did make use of the coffee pod machine 😊

Pros: Great, spacious and comfortable room, facilities and view. Everything is perfect!

Cons: There's nothing missing. The owner's personality was also great.

Cons: Loose tap in kitchen, loose door handle on balcony door. Entrance not overly welcoming.

Pros: Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Central location in the Bastide and within walking distance to the cite. The rooftop patio was a nice bonus. It was quiet and the AC cooled us off after a hot day in the city. Easy check-in. Fast and friendly communication. There are steps to climb to get to the apt. This did not bother us in any way, but it is good to be aware of.

Lovely Rooftop Apartment

Pros: Loved this apartment, especially the rooftop terrace and the bells of the nearby church on Easter Sunday morning. Beautiful. Very lucky with the weather, beautiful sunny with lovely temperature. Caught a few rays on the terrace🌞 Newly renovated, everything you need. Location good for shopping and restaurants and a walk to the train station and Canal Du Midi. Would most definitely return to this apartment if coming back to Carcassonne. Great value.. Good communication with owner if needed.

Cons: Tiny room on first floor, not suitable for someone that would be claustrophobic. A good walk to the medieval citie. Bar around the corner was a bit noisy the first night but was closed then for the following two nights so was not a problem after that. A narrow stairway to apartment so not suitable for someone with walking difficulties. Rooftop terrace makes up for the climb. Bathroom is located as an ensuite to main bedroom, not great if four adults staying however if you want every comfort then you pay for same. This apartment is great value for money, I would definitely stay here again.
