Pros: Excellent location at the base of the city wall, with just a ten minute walk to the citadel. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Having a small terrace looking up at the castle was magical, especially at night!

Cons: The lighting was dim in the lounge/kitchen area with one light not working.

Pros: The view is exceptional, plus it is a real bonus having the balcony. It must have the best view around.

Cons: Only two single duvets. None supplied for the double bed but we were ok with that. Would have preferred cotton, not nylon, creased duvet covers. Pillows hard. Need new ones.

Pros: The location was amazing. Perfect for the Bastille Day Fireworks and central to the Medieval town and Old Town. Easy transit from the Airport via a €6 Shuttle bus.

Magic location and a very comfortable stay

Pros: From the moment the taxi pulled up, we knew this place would be cool. Situated directly below the castle, the view is surreal. You could not dream of a nicer view. The flat had nice decor and didn't feel like many of the soulless air bnb that you usually find. It was 34 degrees out, so the air con was very appreciated. Easy to find and easy to enter. The host was epic and very helpful, even telling us a place to store our bags after checkout. There is a grocery, somewhat limited, right around the corner. Just a couple of minutes away are a dozen cafes, but head in to the non tourist part of town for better prices. Comfortable beds and quiet in the evening. I am sure there are cheaper places, but the value for money here is 100%. One of the best and easiest stays in a long time, and we trravel a lot.

Cons: Shower had no soap, but otherwise epic. I would honestly find ithard to fault this placew.

Pros: A very comfortable apartment in a fantastic location with an incredible view! We stayed for four nights and were very happy with our choice of accommodation. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, close to both entrances to the walled city as well as the old bridge over to the Bastide, 10 mins walk from the nearest airport shuttle drop (Dôme). We really enjoyed seeing the sights of Carcassonne but sitting on the terrace soaking up the view was a big highlight : )

Cons: A couple of tea towels in the kitchen would be handy, and better lighting in the living area would be nice but these are small details : )

Relaxing, easy, comfortable.

Pros: Salim our host was very easy to communicate with throughout our visit and quickly rectified a small query we had. The beds were very comfortable, shower good and kitchen had everything we needed. Highlight was the location and the view from the balcony, incredible day and night (see photo)- we walked everywhere into the lower town and the medieval cite. If you're interested in WW2 there is a good walking tour in the lower town which we really enjoyed, run by Paul. Good restaurants at the end of the street.

Pros: Fabulous location. Everything we wanted was in walking distance. Balcony view a real highlight. Really comfy bed & pillows. Well equipped kitchen. Great communication from owners.
