Pros: The appartment had a lovely, original design. Close to the centre.

Cons: Noisy neighbours playing loud music

We had a very good stay just slightly marred by the noise at night.

Pros: The location was good, close to the centre of the Bastide for bars restaurants and supermarkets and a pleasant walk to the old city. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It had a comfortable bed.

Cons: The apartment is on the intersection of two roads and where the bedroom is on the ground floor there was a lot of traffic noise late at night and very early in the morning. There was also noise from the neighbouring apartments, mainly due to the weather being warm and people having their windows open. Some may find the spiral staircase to the lounge/kitchen challenging.

Pros: A lovely modern oasis in a rustic medieval town. The apartment is extremely spacious (just the two of us) spread out over ground and first floor with the bedroom on the cooler ground floor which was good as there's no AC. Upstairs is a very comfortable living area with an extremely well equipped kitchen with everything you could wish for for a short stay. The hosts were also very accommodating regarding checking in and out which made for a wonderful place to stay in Carcassonne.

Cons: Sleeping on hot nights is a little uncomfortable without AC.

Good value for money

Pros: Convenient location and clean, well equipped and a good size for a couple.

Cons: Near to the road and therefore noisy with road traffic at night.

Pros: No breakfast included but plenty of local cafes and a bakery just round the corner

Cons: Bedroom was next to main street so a bit noisy at night

A perfect location for enjoying all that Carcassine has to offer

Pros: great location near the main city and walking to the citadel. lovely stylish furnishings feel to the place. the little balcony provided a view into the life of the town and some of its interesting history we loved staying there the concierge was helpful and was able to converse in French and English

Cons: could have done with more utensils for cooking a meal but we managed fine and wine glasses were supplied on request.

Pros: The apartment was Lovely and clean. Lots of things within easy walking distance for food wine and meals. Helpful info when needed from the apartment contact. Bus from the airport about 10 mins walk from the apartment but an easy walk. All you would need for a couple of days stay over.

Pros: Really good amenities and communication with the host and allowed to check in early.

Cons: Could of been provided with another toilet roll as we were only given one and ran out late at night. Road is very noisy but this can’t be helped.

Pros: Apartment was extremely clean and comfortable and I am fussy about cleanliness! All facilities available including hair dryer and curling / straightening tongs. Central location makes it easy to see all of Carcassonne. Thoroughly enjoyable experience staying at this apartment. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: Des voisins mal éduqués qui font trop du bruit tard la nuit et tôt le matin sans aucun respect des autres !
