Hotel La Chaumière

Wonderful room, Wonderful breakfast

Pros: Luxury rooms. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Sipping beer outside on arrival watching world go by. Breakfast was wonderful lots of choice.

Cons: Was not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Pros: Bedroom & bathroom superbly furnished; shower was excellent & toiletries available Room was very large with plenty of plug points to charge devices In room fridge had 2 x 500ml bottles of complimentary mineral water - very nice touch Secure underground parking was ideal Dinner menu was excellent, as was the food Staff very friendly/helpful Air con Free wifi with a strong connection

Great value for staying close to Pyrenees

Pros: Clean, spacious, nice bathroom, good airco. Easy parking.

Cons: All in all was very fine. The breakfast was a somewhat simple but I think this time we were just too late for it and there was more than a half food already gone.

Fantastic location, exceptional service and a bicycle friendly hotel as well.

Pros: Fantastic and exceptional service shown by the staff. The rooms are large and each has aircon. The staff also turned it on ahead of us for our arrival which was much appreciated as we were travelling during a heatwave. We were on a cycle tour and travelling on bicycles and the hotel accommodated these well. The restaurant has two menu options - French and Vietnamese. They were both fantastic and I recommend eating at the restaurant when staying there. The breakfast has all options available and for those who are cycling I can also say it is fantastic! Lastly one of our booking party couldn't make it and even though we had pre-paid the rooms, and I never requested a refund, the owner of the hotel insisted on organising the refund and the service he provided was exceptional.

A Delightful Stay

Pros: It's a striking looking hotel. The rooms are modern and comfortable with air conditioning. The dining room has a balcony which is a lovely experience.

Cons: Cannot put anything here.

Perfect stop over with friendly staff

Pros: Front of house lady was polite and friendly and spoke fluent English and French

This was our second stay in Quillan and the hotel did not disappoint

Pros: The rooms are large and well appointed. Big beds, very comfortable

Cons: Better lighting on the stairs leading to the rooms

Very enjoyable stay!

Pros: The size of the room was excellent for my daughter and grandchildren. They were upgraded to a bigger room as opposed to the double room that we initially booked. This room was a lot more suitable for their needs.

We could not fault the Hotel, it was great

Pros: The hotel is situated perfectly in the Quillan, we had a family member in a wheel chair, suitable parking at the back with lift access and wide passages. The rooms were very good, large and plenty of room with the wheel chair. The Restaurant had great food, something different on the menu available each of the 3 nights.

Cons: a family member is Vegan, so the restaurant was a little limited.
