A gem of a hotel

Pros: This hotel is an absolute gem located in superb tranquil surroundings. Lovely welcome by the host who showed us around the hotel facilities. A lovely big bedroom with a very comfortable bed, big bathroom as well. Had a delicious dinner made even better by a sweet, charming waitress (sorry did not get her name, but well done)

Cons: Maybe a wider choice of food for breakfast

This is absolute happiness!!!!

Pros: A huge thank you to Isabel and her team for the amazing feeling of home and comfort. From the moment you enter the house, you are surrounded by care and warmth. Isabel gave each of us a piece of soap and shampoo handmade by local craftsmen of exceptional quality and aroma and gave a tour of the house and grounds. We traveled in a large group of 10 people and rented 6 rooms. The rooms are excellent for any combination of guests and needs)))!!! Wonderful beds, very clean, each room is decorated with love for the house and the surrounding nature. Very tasty food also from local products. Be sure to look out the window at night, you will see the sky and stars that you have not seen in cities for a long time!!! This is absolute happiness!!!!

Pros: Our stay at Domaine de Camboyer was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of the French countryside, this beautifully restored estate offers a perfect blend of elegance, tranquility and warmth. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of calm and care that made our visit truly special. We loved being able to choose the scent for the locally made soap for our room. We also really enjoyed the cheese board prepared especially for us - a thoughtful and delicious gesture that spoke volumes about the team’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality. The grounds are stunning, the rooms spacious and tastefully decorated, and the spa facilities added a luxurious touch to our restful retreat. Whether wandering through the park, relaxing by the pool, or chatting with the friendly staff, every moment felt like a gentle invitation to unwind.

Wonderful secluded location for an overnight stay

Pros: The hotel is in a lovely quiet location in the countryside. The recent renovation has been tastefully achieved and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Set back from the road, Domaine de Camboyer has its own secluded parking area.

Fantastic location - Looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

Pros: Beautiful setting and newly restored historical manor. Extremely well run, great staff to help and accommodate us during our stay. We had 2 meals at the property, both were fantastic. Big, spacious and well decorated rooms - very warm. Secure parking on site - Electric car charging available. Nature all around, peace, quiet and well looked after. Late check out available at extra cost which meant we would enjoy our stay for a bit longer. 2 well behaved and beautiful golden reterivers. Big breakfast, basic yet good quality and loads of options available.

Cons: Nothing that we did not like. We can not fault the property or the staff.

Lovely overnight stay to round off a weekend pre airport return

Pros: Beautifully restored and recently opened. Have spent a lot of time restoring the house, grounds and ensuring there are explanations for various trees and plants in the woodland, which was a nice touch! Unexpected offer to provide dinner on arrival - a beautiful cassoulet. Breakfast was also well stocked Staff extremely friendly and helpful, and put up with my pigeon French! Wishing the owners well for the future

Cons: Nothing much really. I wouldn't automatically choose to have the bath in the room, but it was OK!
