Pros: We had a very warm welcome by the two hosts and the accomodation was very clean and spacious. The location is great, close the the train station.

Our stay was very good, a pity the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the swimming pool

Pros: The location was very good, close to the station and walking distance from town centre. Our hosts were very friendly and had good knowledge of good local restaurants and amenities. The homemade jam for breakfast was superb

Very comfortable and calm stay

Pros: The owners are very friendly and work hard to please their guests. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious, especially by French standards. Everything was very clean with lots of little details. A breakfast of warm baguette, butter, jam, fruit etc. was delivered to my room. Coffee/tea were available in the room. The patio access to the pool was nice (though it was too cold during my stay to open the pool).

Cons: I did find it a little odd at first to walk through the garage to get to my room. But then I realized this made the room very quiet as it is really separate from the house. I choose the room because it was close to the train station, so the immediate neighborhood does not have many cafes or scenic sights - but is it an easy and interesting 20 minute walk to the historic city center.

Pros: The breakfast was more than adequate. Best to try and take the car when looking for a restaurant. That’s if you can find a car spot.

Cons: Arriving on Sunday, most of the restaurants were closed. Just open mainly for serving drinks

A gentle, relaxing place from which to explore Narbonne and the surrounding area

Pros: Alan was the perfect host and had marked up a map for me with places of interest, recommendations of where to eat, and the best routes into and around the town. The apartment space was generously set out with a smart kitchenette, modern bathroom, and large sleeping and lounge space which were particularly well furnished. There is direct access to an outside space which includes a pool. The location is easily accessible from the train station and is a gentle level walk into the centre of Narbonne. Fresh bread and fruit was left for me each morning with all other condiments readily available in the kitchen including a coffee maker and kettle.

Pros: Location: Good access to motorway (A9 and A61). Narbonne has an exit from the motorway (on the other side of the town). Walking distance to the historic center (about 15 min). Calm location. Room: large, equipped with a microwave, a kettle, a fridge and a washing machine including lines to dry cloth (didn’t use the washing machine), also a bag rack and a regular table; no problem with placing your bags. Bed: large, very comfortable. Bathroom: large and comfortable shower cabin (despite the plastic curtain). Breakfast: French style, very good bread fresh every day, homemade jam, good quality of products. However if you prefer German style breakfast, you will end hungry. WiFi: very good. Staff: the host was very nice and helpful, we have got lot of information about Narbonne and surroundings. Parking: One parking place behind the gate. It is also possible to park on the street (free).

Cons: Hotel: The apartment is located behind the garage and you must squeeze through the garage to get into the room. And there are stairs just front of the door to the room, be careful when going out. Room: the bathroom and the kitchenette are accessible through two high and uncomfortable stairs, not nice at night; no sink in the kitchenette, as a result no place to wash dishes, not so easy to fill the kettle with water. Lighting: week, the table has no lighting. Bathroom: small and uncomfortable, you must watch the protruding edge of the shower cabin

Unexpected, fun and friendly

Pros: Alan and his wife were fantastic hosts and took the time and trouble to welcome us Use of the pool and outdoor patio area was a bonus, as was the breakfast and welcome basket

Leuk verblijf

Pros: Super ontvangst. Bij aankomst kregen we van Alain fijne tips om de omgeving en leuke restaurants te bezoeken. Het appartement ligt in een rustige wijk en toch dicht bij het centrum. Je kan veilig parkeren achter een poort op de oprit.

Cons: Niets, alles was top
