Comfortable and clean, with excellent hosts and plenty of things to do in the area.

Pros: Great location within walking distance of the swimming lake.

Enjoyable stay in the Cathar region

Pros: The house was comfortably furnished and well located. The property is near the centre of the village and a restaurant. It is also near the footpath to the castle and not far from the swimming lake. Puivert is also conveniently located for visiting other Cathar castles and places of interest. The owners were always responsive and helpful.

Cons: It is a pity that the village shop wasn't open when we were there but we understood it was only closed that week to prepare for the high season.
