Spain 🇪🇸

Calm stay in a charming surrounding

Pros: The location is great, with many fields to walk with the dog. We went during December, and it was still great to be outside, although it was cold and windy on some days. People living in the village are very friendly and respectful of the dogs. Lots of places around to visit as well. Very nice owner, ready to help with recommendations. The place has 2 floors, which is also great for dog owners as you can keep the dog downstairs after a walk. We did not use the patio downstairs because of the weather, but it seemed very nice. There is a second flat next to it, so if you are a bigger group, it seems a fantastic idea to book them both. The kitchen is equipped with all you need. The heating works great upstairs & there is also a terrace with direct sunlight during the day. Big parking just next door, shop&bar in the village; but also a bigger supermarket within 15min drive. Very comfortable mattress and quiet nights, so get ready to relax. Overall we really recommend it!

Cons: We liked everything. :) We would recommend getting rid of the billiard table and using the big space downstairs even better. Internet was as expected in rural places (sometimes on and off), so just keep it in mind.

Faites escale à Escales.

Pros: Logement vraiment impeccable et climatisé dans un village paisible proche de tous les sites cathares, des gouffres grandioses, des villes de Narbonne et Carcassonne incontournables à visiter, pas si loin de la mer bien appréciable par la canicule qui sévit dans la région. La famille qui nous a accueillis est vraiment aux petits soins et la dame de ménage adorable.

Cons: La météo excessive et exceptionnelle en cette saison avec des températures à plus de 42 degrés provoquant des départs de feux dans le minervois. Dommage pour les randonnées car les massifs, fermés, étaient sous haute surveillance par les pompiers.

Pros: lieu particulièrement calme logement propre et bien équipé

Cons: premier accès delicat:itinéraire GPS difficile toilettes et salle de bains au RDC ,pièces à vivre à l'étage :non rédhibitoire mais un peu gênant pour des personnes âgées...
