Relais de Laval

We had a beautiful stay at Relais de Laval. The owners were very thoughtful and kind.

Pros: Loved the breakfast and dinner that was served, all organic and local ingredients.

Pros: Beautiful location in a small town surrounded by mountains, castles and winding roads. Even though we booked the same day we came to stay they could accommodate a fantastic dinner with delicious wine. Hope we’ll make it back one day!

Our 3 nights at Relais de laval were the highlight of our holiday. We will return!

Pros: Relais de Laval - located in Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes is a wonderful base and one of the southern villages with great access to the chateaus, the rouge train and the heritage villages. Good value and welcoming like the family home that it is, Lucy and Slav treat you like invited guests.

Cons: This home isn’t a modern luxe accommodation it is a welcoming space that has its quirks and is comfortable, but not the cloud soft space of a hotel, the shower was hot, and adequate, but could do with some maintenance for example.

Pros: The dinner was simply amazing. Great host. Interesting place, room was large and comfortable.

Pros: From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine care and hospitality that made this stop on our motorbike trip truly special. Our motorcycles were safely parked right in front of our room, and we were treated to an exceptional dinner made entirely from local ingredients and treasures from the garden. Every detail showed heart and attention. We’re deeply thankful for this unforgettable experience!
