A quick but very enjoyable overnight stay and would recommend to anyone visiting this area

Pros: Stunning property, beautifully furnished with every detail and comfort carefully thought out. Delightful, considerate hosts and delicious breakfast. If I were in this area, I would definitely stay here again.

Les Ordalies combines historic charm with modern comfort

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Les Ordalies. It was a pleasure to have such a comfortable and spacious room and to be welcomed so warmly by the kind owner. The baguettes and croissants at breakfast were the finest of our 12 day trip. The property is historic and sensitively restored to a high standard. We were grateful to have access to secure bicycle storage.

A hiddden treasure nestled in the heart of castelnaudary

Pros: The welcoming hosts, the historic house, the fantastic breakfast. The decor was lovely and the bedroom was especially beautiful.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: The hosts were fantastic and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The building, the history it contains is great to be able to stay there. Breakfast was plentiful. The hosts baking different choices each day. I would stay here again just to appreciate the hospitality and history of the accommodation.

Cons: Nothing not to like.

A gem in a quiet town

Pros: Les Ordalies is a gem, the hosts are very kind and generous, the breakfast which is all homemade is delicious and freshly prepared. The building is beautiful and quiet, a great place to relax and situated in the centre of town near the cathedral. I would highly recommend staying here.

A place out of a dream

Pros: Corinne and François welcomed my husband and I after a long cycle, offering us drinks in the lovely garden. Once we stepped into the building, we realised what a unique place this is, not only superbly beautiful, but with relevant history, tastefully furnished and very comfortable, having all the modern perks one would hope for, a truly enchanting experience, with the wonderful hosts being the ultimate ingredient that made our stay memorable. It’s a real shame that we only had one night in the beautiful Ordalies. The breakfast is delicious, just as the cherry on top!

Perfect stay in grand historic home

Pros: Behind a modest doorway, you find a grand old dame of a town mansion that has been sensitively restored and modernised. The history of the building includes the facts that Louis XIV stayed in it on his way to meet his Spanish bride and that it was home to a dynasty of French High Justices. The owners are a wonderful and genuinely friendly couple who made the stay truly fantastic. The rooms have been furnished with stunning antique show pieces while the amenities such as TV, shower, coffee maker, wifii etc were fully modern and top quality. Our room was decorated like a masterpiece work of art, and included a lovely bookcase with books in French and English, a real bonus for a bookworm like me. Breakfast was superb every morning and we were spoiled with many delicious choices of continental breakfast foods. It is also a short walk to the centre of town which has several restaurants to choose from.

Gorgeous historical boutique hotel.

Pros: Beautiful building, with interesting history. Very kind hosts. Good breakfast, clean and gorgeous room. Parking nearby and good WiFi. Bicycle could be parked in the garage.

Cons: Nothing. Loved it.

WE WERE ON OUR WAY BACK FROM A WEDDING IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE SO THIS WAS A FANTASTIC PLACE TO CHILL
