Gîte de la Bastide - Cabania Pays Cathare

Somewhere between rustic and basic but level of hospitality makes up any shortcomings for me.

Pros: Host was very accommodating and explained about his property and its facilities - it wont suit everyone but was fine for me. It was not busy during my stay so the host was able to provide me with a good level of attention which was appreciated.

Cons: Bed was not the most comfortable and wifi limited to part of the building which excluded my bedroom - an inconvenience.

Pros: The staff was amazing and helpful. The meals were always outstanding and delicious.

Pros: The hosts Frederick and Ingrid were excellent. The location was magical. A total rural setting and such a beautiful place. The meal cooked in the evening was exceptional. The best I had on the trip. The rooms were authentic with charactor and very comfortable. Would love to return again soon

Ein herrlicher Ort, an dem man Ruhe tanken kann

Pros: Es herrscht eine sehr herzliche und familiäre Atmosphäre in dieser Gîte. Ingrid und Fred sorgen für einen wirklich angenehmen Aufenthalt. Ganz lecker war das Abendessen, das Fred gezaubert hatte. Das Frühstück war zudem auch sehr reichhaltig. Es wird Wert gelegt auf regionale Bio-Produkte. Da es ja eine Gîte ist und keine Pension/Hotel, ist die Ausstattung und der Komfort dafür wirklich sehr gut. Sucht man die Ruhe und die ländliche Abgeschiedenheit, dann ist der Weiler La Bastide absolut richtig dafür. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten (z B. Queribus, Peyrepertuse, Gorges de Galamus) und Wandermöglichkeiten wie der Pic de Bugarach liegen in der näheren Umgebung. Auch für Kinder ist diese Gîte sehr gut geeignet. Für Menschen, die eine ländliche Gegebenheit lieben ist dieser Ort absolut herrlich.

Cons: Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln

Pros: À qques km et en dessous du Pic du Bugarach, d'une nuit réservée initialement, suis finalrment resté 2 nuits + 2 dîners faits maison excellents. L'accueil d'Ingrid et Fred est dans la simplicité et la bienveillance. Ce que j'adore !! Ils sont vraiment attentifs aux hôtes pour que nous passions un agreable séjour ! Et les rencontres sur place, les conversations avec d'autres hôtes du Quebec, de Bourges et d'ailleurs restera aussi mémorable. merci pour tout !

Cons: Rien en particulier. Même le temps nuageux s'est amélioré tout en haut du Pech du Bugarach. 😅
