Great location and beautiful apartment

Pros: Amazing location within a beautiful complex with other houses, next to a beautiful ecluse. Alse very near Carcassone and nearby areas

Picturesque quintessential french rural stay

Pros: Beautiful remote location - you will definitely need to rent a car however it is worth it! Very peaceful, very beautiful and very french. Taxi's are available however can be difficult to book and about 30 euros for a one way trip into Carcassone. Amazing walks from the house including a long walk down the river into a nearby town with bakeries and restaurants. Really comfortable beds and incredible bathroom! Lots of privacy.

Cons: Unfortunately there isn't much of a living room area. The main area for relaxing was the patio which was beautiful but I think it could use a comfortable sofa or seating area in the downstairs room with a small TV incase guests want to have a quiet night in and don't want to sit outside or on their bed. Otherwise an amazing stay.

Elegant, authentic stay in beautifully restored old cottage.

Pros: This is the one of the most fabulous and authentic accommodations we have stayed in. It’s part of an old winery estate that’s been beautifully restored and decorated. The bedrooms are delightful, with comfy beds and lovely view. The location was perfect for us. We could park our car right out the front, walk the canal du midi in the morning (directly behind property) and head a few minutes into town for breakfast at a cafe on the canal. The river Aude is a 3 min walk away too. It has a coffee machine and a great kitchen, so it’s self sufficient if you want to eat there. We sat out on the terrace with a cheese plate, as it was too lovely to leave once we had arrived. Also a dining table inside. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Pros: En cette canicule la climatisation était bienvenue. Décoration soignée et habitation confortable.

Pros: Le lieu est magnifique, loin des touristes. La maison est confortable avec tout ce qu’il faut pour les adultes mais aussi pour bébé.

Cons: Tout était parfait. Voiture obligatoire pour aller à Carcassonne ou en vélo si vous n’avez pas d’enfants en bas âge.

Pros: Sitio acogedor y recientemente reformado. El baño super espacioso.Potente aire acondicionado en las habitaciones y en la sala. Entorno campestre muy tranquilo.

Cons: Las escaleras para subir a los dormitorios son bastante empinadas. Estuvimos acompañados por alguna avispa en la mesa exterior, pero es lo que hay sí vas al campo.

Agréable maison pleine de charme idéalement située

Pros: Maison pleine de charme, avec un coin salon extérieur magnifique qui donne sur un petit château. A deux pas d'une écluse et du canal du midi, pour de belles balades. A 5mn de carcassonne. Idéal pour ceux qui apprécient le calme et les belles pierres.

Un appartement absolument magnifique!!

Pros: L'appartement Villecarla est magnifique et nous avons adoré notre séjour : les sympathiques propriétaires ont rénové avec goût une ancienne dépendance d'un château et en ont fait un appartement plein de charme et équipé de meubles anciens. Les chambres sont magnifiques, la salle de bain gigantesque, la cuisine très bien équipée, le séjour agréable. La terrasse est également bien équipée avec un barbecue à gaz à disposition pour des soirées au soleil couchant. La situation est vraiment idéale: très très calme, au bord du canal du Midi mais à seulement quelques minutes de Carcassonne, et au coeur d'une région avec d'innombrables visites à faire. Merci Katy pour l'accueil, nous reviendrons assurément chez vous pour un prochain séjour dans la région!

Pros: De rust, perfect als tussenstop richting Spanje. Bezoek aan Carcassonne. Huisje heeft alle comfort!
