The weather was not what we hoped, but it is in a lovely location and beautifully kitted out.

Pros: We didn't take breakfast, though from the leaflet I believe it was offered.

Fabulous, well located Gite with warm host

Pros: Spent 5 days, could have spent a month. Outstanding location 30 minutes or less from the many regional offerings. Fabulous hospitality, warm knowledgeable host, spacious, well appointed, ultra clean apartment w private entrance. Washing machine! Perfectly equipped kitchen. Located on a lovely, well maintained estate slightly outside Limoux. Ultra Scenic strolls right outside the door -- you can easily walk a km or two to stretch your legs in the morning or after dinner. Outstanding value. Check out owners website for full info. Looking forward to a future visit!

Excellent Apartment For Visiting The Area

Pros: A large modern completely renewed apartment in an old farm building; very nicely furnished with everything you need; friendly Dutch owners who speak fluent English and live on site; large kitchen and very good shower; comfortable bed and pillows; speedy WiFi; even a screen on the bedroom window; an excellent value.

Cons: Wooden floors do creak a little bit; there are steps up to the apartment and some steps inside the apartment between the rooms; Gite Vent Autan is the name of the apartment, not the name of the building complex where it is located; this confused us at first; the entrance sign on the D102 road is Domaine La Moneze Basse – Gites de Charme; we found it easier to enter by the smaller road around the corner and could park right in front of our apartment.
