La retraite truly is a place of peace and relaxation.

Pros: To celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary we came with our daughter to this beautiful property. Everything from beginning to end was just perfect….the welcome, the added touches such as bread, butter, jam etc were so much appreciated! We felt right at home and definitely recommend Debbie & David’s haven of peace and tranquility….we will be back!!!! Thank you so very much, Gillian, Pascal & Alexandrine

Pros: We enjoyed a fantastic stay at La Retraite. The apartment is cosy and tastefully decorated, and Assignan is a nice quiet little village, more interesting than we expected. We very much appreciated the complimentary local products, especially the jam and bread, and the coffee, because there are a few fine restaurants in the village, but no cafés where you can have breakfast.

Pros: L'accueil chaleureux de Debbie et David nous a tout de suite plongé dans l'univers atypique du Village Castigno, que nous avons adoré ! quant au logement, rien à redire, de part sa propreté, son équipement, sa décoration de très bon gout, et les petites attentions laissés par les propriétaires...tout était parfait et nous ne pouvons que recommander avec grand plaisir ce doux logis !
